Mr. Leslie Nelson - FCMA, CA, MBA, FLMI

Mr. Nelson has over twenty (20) years experience in the financial services industry with ten (10) of these years at Executive Management.

Mr. Leslie Nelson is a Chartered Accountant.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the United Kingdom and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago.

He is also the holder of a Master of Business Administration Degree (Finance) from The University of Reading, Henley Management School of Business in London, England and a Fellow of the Life Office Management Institute (Managerial Accounting) from Atlanta, USA.

In addition to his academic qualifications, Leslie has attended numerous seminars and conferences as part of his quest for continuous professional development including a Certificate in Public Relations from the American Managment Association.

He acquired three (3) years international experience working in Toronto, Canada which has provided global perspective on finance, organizational change management strategies and client relationship management.

Mr. Nelson is a Past President of the San Juan Lions Club and Past Zone Chairman of Lions International having held this position both in Trinidad and in Toronto. He has received numerous awards for distinguished community service including the Melvin Jones Fellowship from Lions International in recognition of his commitment to humanitarian work.

 

Sherry Ann Mc Donald-Joseph - AccountantSherry Ann Mc Donald-Joseph, Accountant

Mrs. Joseph has fifteen (15) years of combined experience in the Financial Services Sector. She is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom and the holder of a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Heriot Watt University, UK.

Presently persuing a Msc in Strategic Planning from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot Watt University, UK.

As the Accountant, Sherry Ann is responsible for the general management and all aspects of accounting and financial responsibilities, inclusive of the provision of accurate and comprehensive financial accounts, statements and management reports in accordance with international accounting standards, and must ensure that adequate systems and procedures are in place to allow for the overall efficient administration of the accounting and financial operations of the Association.

 


Sherry Ann Mc Donald-Joseph - AccountantAllyson Alexander, Internal Auditor/Compliance Officer

Allyson Alexander, a Certified Internal Auditor, brings more than twenty two (22) years' internal auditing experience to the Association, with expertise in computer auditing, fraud detection and investigation, and project management.

The Internal Auditor is charged with the responsibility for all internal audit functions, to ensure that policies, systems and procedures are relevant and effectively observed, and that the integrity of the accounting and computer systems are sound and can withstand scrutiny.

The Internal Auditor also acts as the Association’s Compliance Officer.
 


 

 Petrina Copeland-James, Marketing AdministratorCharmaine Richardson, Manager Mortgage & Investments

Mrs.  Richardson has over twenty (20) years experience in the financial service sector of which ten (10) consist of experience and knowledge in the field of credit administration at a supervisory level.   She is the holder of an Associate Degree in Business Administration from The Association of Business Executives (ABE) and presently pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree (final Semester) in Management Studies at the University of the West Indies.

She is also certified in the fields of: Mortgage Lending for Residential Housing from the  Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) and Records and Information Management from the  Association of Records Managers and Administrators, Inc. (ARMA)

As the Manager of the Mortgages & Investment Department, she is charged with the responsibility of overseeing and coordinating the affairs of the Mortgages & Investment Department with key accountabilities for prudent risk management, exercising sound credit judgment and ensuring the efficient daily routine operations of the Department.


 Petrina Copeland-James, Marketing AdministratorPetrina Copeland-James, Marketing Adminstrator

With twelve (12) years' of combined experience in the media and marketing fields, Petrina is charged with the responsibility of executing the overall marketing functions of the TBLA, which include branding; new product development; and events management.

She is presently pursuing a Masters in Marketing from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.
