POSITIONED FOR TAKE OFF!
The TBLA Unveils its Corporate Website and Corporate Signature
On October 15th 2008, the Trinidad Building and Loan Association unveiled its Corporate Website and Corporate Signature. This celebratory event was held at the TBLA’s home at #89 Queen Street in Port of Spain. The launch heralds a new era of transacting business for the Association. Feature Speaker, The Honourable Mariano Browne, Minister in the Ministry of Finance, addressed the audience of distinguished and specially invited guests, which included Joan John, Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago; Gregory Aboud, President of DOMA; stakeholders in the home developers and mortgage industries; the Board of Directors and members of the Association and TBLA’s staff.
The TBLA has been in existence over 100 years (since 1891), and is the longest standing Building Society in Trinidad and Tobago. It is a pillar of strength and endurance. To this day the Association continues to follow its Vision Statement with the launch of its Corporate Website: To be a strong, dynamic organisation, providing easy access to home mortgage financing, and maintaining and enhancing its customer service, thereby ensuring customer loyalty.
The TBLA’s website allows quick, easy access to all information needed, but more importantly, establishes the Association’s presence in the global marketplace. www.tblamortgages.com is now the central 24-hour portal of the Trinidad Building and Loan Association. Information on its mortgage products, savings and investment products, credit facilities and application forms are available on-line with the click of a mouse.
From inception to present, the TBLA’s Modus Operandi has been “Quittez Loyer ou Payer pour Cai ou” - Let your Rent Pay for your Home. The Association helps its members realise their dreams of owning their home through its mortgage facilities. It also encourages thrift amongst its customers. The TBLA believes that no matter what your goals are, reaching them becomes easier when you plan. It helps its customers choose the options that best suit their plans and needs.
TBLA members and customers are now able to go online and learn about the different products offered, find out more about the Association – who they are and how they work, and its achievements and successes.
In launching its Corporate Website, the Trinidad Building and Loan Association shows that it is still reliable, successful, and growing, moving with the trend of today’s technology. The Association has now positioned itself for take-off in a global, commercial, online atmosphere.
